In this post, I will show you the best 5 alternatives to Binance.
Unsurprisingly, Binance is the most used exchange globally, even by many Nigerian traders.
With numerous excellent services and a wide range of digital assets supported on the platform, why wouldn’t everyone want to use Binance?
However, it does not mean we shouldn’t have options. Or does it?
You know what they say, “Do not put all your eggs in one basket”.
Besides, no exchange has it all, not even Binance (LOL).
By the end of this post, you will know 5 other exchanges similar to Binance that you can try.
Let’s dive right in!
5 Best Binance Alternatives
Please note that I picked these exchanges because they have similar features to Binance and may even have some services where they do better.
Also, I have used each of them before now.
The 5 best Binance alternatives are:
Keep reading as I explain each one briefly.
1. Bybit
Bybit is the first exchange that made my list of the 5 best Binance alternatives.
Someone even told me that Bybit is a duplicate of Binance, LOL.
It’s not far from the truth, though, especially when you look at the interface of both platforms.
Additionally, Bybit offers the same services as Binance, including crypto trading, buying crypto with fiat, crypto savings, and more.
Also, both exchanges host millions of users and record millions of dollars in daily trading volume.
Just as on Binance, you can get verified on Bybit with your BVN (for Nigerians)
And while both exchanges charge low fees, Bybit is letting users trade spots for free right now (19/10/2022).
I further compared both exchanges in the table below. Have a look:
Binance | Bybit | |
Products/ Services | Buy crypto Markets Trade Derivatives Earn Finance NFT | Buy crypto Markets Trade Derivatives Earn Finance NFT |
Supported Cryptos | 350+ | 150+ |
Native Token | BNB | BIT |
Payment Methods | Bank transfer Credit/Debit Card Third-Party Payment Crypto | Bank transfer Credit/Debit Card Third-Party Payment Crypto |
Transaction Fees | Low | Low |
Security | High | High |
2. OKX
Second on my list of best Binance alternatives is OKX.
It is also one of the top exchanges in the world by trading volume.
Like Binance, OKX supports a wide range of digital products and services.
Also, you can trade futures, derivatives, and leverage on both exchanges.
Additionally, both platforms charge low fees of ≤ 0.1%.
Users who hold their native tokens enjoy discounts on trading fees.
Again, verification is less cumbersome on both exchanges for Nigerians – Binance allows you to use your BVN, while OKX accepts the NIN slip.
See more similarities in the table below:
Binance | OKX | |
Products/ Services | Buy crypto Markets Trade Derivatives Earn Finance NFT | Exchange Wallet Buy crypto Trade Grow (Earn) Discover (Markets) Build |

3. Kucoin
Kucoin also made my list of the best Binance alternatives.
This exchange is very popular, and it ranks among the top 5 on Coinmarketcap (as of 19/10/2022).
Little wonder it states on its homepage, “1 Out of 4 Crypto Holders Worldwide Is with KuCoin.”
Cool, right?
As you would expect, the exchange offers similar services to Binance;
Buy crypto, P2P, Futures, Margin trading, and more.
Additionally, users can expect to pay between 0.0125% and 0.10% per trade, which is not far from what is obtainable on Binance.
Currently (Oct. 2022), it charges zero fees for spot trading to celebrate its 5th anniversary.
Other cool features of Kucoin include cloud mining, fractional NFTs, and a trading bot.
See more similarities between Kucoin and Binance below:

4. Bitget
Bitget is another exchange that fits as a Binance alternative.
It was founded in 2018 by Sandra Lou.
On Bitget, you can trade spots/futures/margins, buy crypto with fiat or via P2P, make passive crypto, etc., just like you do on Binance.
Also, the exchange charges low fees.
And right now, it’s not collecting any fees for spot trading.
Furthermore, you can copy trades on Bitget and make profits like expert traders.

5. Gate.io
Lastly, Gate.io is another excellent platform that made my list of best Binance alternatives.
Han Lin founded this exchange in 2013.
Gate.io supports over 1,400 cryptocurrencies, enabling you to trade as many assets as possible.
This is more than twice the number of cryptos supported on Binance.
Also, you can make passive crypto income when participating in the platform’s regular contests.
Like the other exchanges we have seen so far, Gate.io is currently charging zero fees for spot trading.
So, you may want to jump on it right now!
Note that you must complete KYC to enjoy the best of this exchange.
