SCAM ALERT!!! THE BILLION COIN (TBC) – Exposing the Scam

by | Jan 23, 2020 | Ponzi/MLM, Reviews | 135 comments

Seeking clarity on TBC’s legitimacy? Rest assured, this article will provide comprehensive insights.

I first learned about TBC about two months after its launch in 2016. Since then I have reviewed and followed it to this recent 2020 update

The truth is that The Billion Coin (TBC) is a scam. Sorry if I hurt your feelings in the beginning by being so blunt. However, I will present all the facts so that you can judge for yourself.

Let’s Dive right in.

How I Learnt about TBC

I heard about The Billion Coin (TBC) in 2016 when a friend of mine who went for a seminar (here in Nigeria) told me about it.

I lent him N10,000 to buy 3 TBC. The price of 1 TBC then was about N3,000 ~ $8.

I did not buy it because I could not understand how this Cryptocurrency could continuously increase in price for no reason. Unlike other currencies, its value is not determined by supply and demand.

Back to my friend,

It’s about 4 years now and he is still stuck with the coin. Even though it’s stated on the official TBC website that 1TBC = 105BTC, my friend has not found a way to exchange it for any other crypto coin, fiat money, goods, or service.

He is a millionaire but only on the TBC website.

The above should be enough info on the legitimacy of the TBC. However, I want to dig deeper… in this order.

  1. What is TBC?
  2. TBC official websites
  3. How does it work?
  4. The Billion Coin Exchanges

You can click on any of the subjects above to go straight to the section

1. What is TBC?

The Billion Coin Review

This is a cryptocurrency that was created to allegedly end poverty globally and bring a sort of balance between the poor and the rich.

It was launched with an initial price of 0.001 Euros per TBC in March 2016.

The Creators are not known, the only name tagged to it is an unknown Kris Kringle who is the admin.

“Kringle” is the smallest Unit of TBC such as the cent is to dollar and Satoshi to Bitcoin.

The coin is said to be decentralized, but it has been reported that members’ accounts have been indiscriminately suspended.

2. What are the official websites of The Billion Coin?

The Billion Coin has about six official websites.

  • thebillioncoin.org
  • thebillioncoin.INFO
  • thebilliocoin.ph
  • thebillioncoin.trade
  • kringle.cash
  • TBC004.net

Note that these sites are not secure while some no longer work.

3. How Does it Work (Principle of The Billion Coin)

The Billion coin uses a software formula that measures the growth of its verified members and hence compensates the growth adequately.

What this simply does is multiply the total number of verified users by 1 Euro.

let’s say the number of verified users = 1 million.

Thus, the price of 1 TBC = 1 million X 1 Euro = 1 million Euros

It is also stated that the price of TBC grows by 1% – 5% daily.

The logic above is clearly devoid of market forces and defies any financial logic.

The question is who formulated it and why are people buying into the idea?

4.The Billion Coin Exchanges

None

Yeah, None…

There is no exchange anywhere for TBC. Even though TBC is alleged to be worth 105BTC, if you have it, you are stuck with it. Which logically places the true value at zero.

It is not listed on Coin Market Cap or the world Coin Index.

The only way to exchange your TBC is to lure someone else to the scam and directly sell the coin to him/her.

5.The Billion Coin Admin Fee Scam

One of TBC’s claims is to make a billion people millionaires but it seems, in reality, its mission is to scam a billion people.

Besides selling worthless coins to unsuspecting individuals, especially in developing countries. The TBC admin devised more ways to cash in on members.

One of the ways is the locking of members’ coins. They promised members that TBC will soon hit the exchange. Thus $10 admin fee in BTC is required to unlock the coins.

Your guess is correct… lots of people paid the fee…. Yes, their coins were unlocked… Yes, the exchange promises were lies.

The question is; why did these persons pay? Why didn’t they ask why they have to pay in BTC and not TBC?

6. The Billion Coin in Uganda

The Billion coin in its inception was popular in Nigeria and the Philippines majorly because of its population and recession at the time. Its next big market was Uganda.

In Uganda,

  • They claimed to have an investment scheme where members can get a monthly return. Then encourage members to invite their friends to earn more.
  • To receive your return on investment, you will have to create a TBC wallet and Pay admin fees. Member did this but did not get paid
  • …But they were not done scamming members… they told members that they have started a new project in Gold mining…. That members have to pay for the project to recover all their fund.

The truth is that if you don’t count your losses and walk away, TBC Admins will find more ways to scam you.

They often cite Nigeria as a success case. That there are stores that accept TBC in Nigeria for the exchange of goods and services.

I am in Nigeria, and I can tell you that it is a big lie. Nigerians that fell for TBC scammed have counted their losses and moved on.

7. Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)

What is the current price of TBC?

The true current Price of TBC is $0. It is worthless

List of Stores that accepts TBC

No store accepts TBC. Those who claim to have spent TBC in stores are lying, they cannot provide proof.

Is TBC a scam?

I believe that you know the answer to this question by Now.
TBC – The Billion Coin is a scam keep off, if you are already involved, do not pay more money to the admin.

I believe you know the principle of demand and supply, i.e when the demand for a commodity goes high it is only natural that its price goes high too.
TBC goes high irrespective of the demand. It only cares about people registering and tries to enforce its membership agreement on people. That is extortion. Please be guided, do not fall a victim to this.

Also, the admin is in charge of your worthless TBC, they can take it away from you at any time.  At the end of this whole thing, Kringle (the admins) is the only one in profit.
I believe most people that hold TBC know deep down inside know that TBC is one big scam although they pray and hope it magically becomes valuable.

When I first heard about Bitcoin, I thought it was impossible. How can you have a purely digital currency? Can’t I just copy your hard drive and have your bitcoins? I didn’t understand how that could be done, and then I looked into it and it was brilliant” @JUDE this is one of ur realise quote,
Now I put it to u dat u can’t imagine having a private community such as tbc community and u can’t imagine having real human to Value a currency to be use by one Billion members from all over the world. Keep doubting new technology and the future and ur eyes shall clear soon.thanks.

When I first heard of Bitcoin, I was fascinated. I looked into it, understood the blockchain technology and saw it was brilliant. I was equally fascinated by TBC when I first heard of it. I looked into it and discovered it was a scam.

I know with time you will come to the reality that TBC is a scam.

Bros there’s some things u still don’t understand about in this life, CHANGE! Change is constant, ur yesterday solution can’t resolve today’s problem in a better form, how many years was Bitcoin B4 it gots some little recognition? Even the so called USA Government criticized Bitcoin when it was invented, together with so many high profile individuals and some other governments of the world, criticized Bitcoin. am yet to confirm dat u really knew or understand real definition of public and Private, this is a simple English here, tbc choose to be a private community and by so doing, they have 100% right to self regulations, what is so hard to understand here? Tbc have a target of 1B Members from all over the world, and they can’t achieve this mission with out self regulation, this self regulations is simply to fight against tbc discounters and to keep tbc dignity alive, I believe u as a person come from a particular Community in ur nation and I strongly believe also in ur community u have a law biding u together which everyone Rich or poor must respect or u face the law?, and mind u no one is greater than his/her community, right from onset in tbc community as a new member u must have to agree to abide in its community law or keep off, u have a right to join willingly and not by any force, even as a Country or Nation, constitutions are made to be amended to serve u better anytime, so what exactly is ur problems with TBC? Is it dat it chooses not to be in coinmarketcap and chooses to remain private? Or is it dat it chooses real human to add its Value and not the market forces? Do u know tbc must not grow every day if no new member Join? Bitcoin have choose its own way as a market base likewise TBC as a private community, let me ask u this question, do u like what is going on in Crypto market presently with all the manipulations? Kindly advice ur self and Note dat Change is inevitable, Bitcoin was someone’s ideas likewise The Billion coin, lets all respect each other and together will ll change the world.

So what you are saying is that TBC is controlled by a group of unknown people who decides what happens. They can decide to shut down the whole TBC program and go away with the money you guys have paid them and no one will know who they are. what if something bad happened to them leading to say lost of life. the whole operation will end?

You are still comparing and innovation BTC that was designed to change the world with an innovation TBC what was design to scam 1 Billion people.

When 1 bitcoin was $0.05 I can spend, buy and sell it. when it became $6,000, I can do the same at any point in time and so on.

but for TBC, I have to wait until 1 billion people own it before I know if I can use it?

Its either you have been so brainwashed into believing the TBC scam or you are paid to scam people.

@Emmanuel. Stop going through fake fake reviews to make a life decisions, in 2009 Bitcoin was tagged as the highest scam ever on earth by these reviewers but today same reviewers are singing Bitcoin praises here and there after scaring millions of potential investors back then in 2009/2010, they could not imagine having digital or Crypto currency, today those people are leaving in regret for listening to them, similar thing is going on in tbc Community today and same fake reviewers as this can’t still believe that Crypto currency as TBC can be valued by real human, they can’t imagine having a private Community coin as tbc, what dat is even paining me most is dat 95% of these so called reviewers have secretly invested in tbc community under 50 50% in case if it worked while scaring an innocents ones away, am a big Crypto currency fan and not Crypto fan but have invested in more than 20 deferents market Coins, I have followed tbc very closely and am proud to tell u that TBC is real and ll surly overtaken Btc and other market base as a hole, tbc as a community base can never be in coinmarketcap because is not a market coin simple and short, what is so difficult to understand here?, what is any one going to tell me about market base coins? Is it all about the evil manipulations dat is going on and on and still growing widely?, as I told u am a Crypto guru and a Crypto consultant CEO @ABUNDANCE CRYPTO WORLDWIDE. To clear ur doubt about Crypto currency and Future of tbc hit me.

You are very wrong. Bitcoin did not receive all bad reviews. Even Bill Gates from the beginning invested a lot in bitcoins.
Here is a list of highly influential people that recommended bitcoins: https://nigeriabitcoincommunity.com/top-11-bitcoin-quotes/
Bitcoin was the hope after the crash of the US economy in 2008. It is decentralized and controlled by no one.

TBC is controlled by some people called admin. who occasionally demand $10 in bitcoins so as to have access to send their worthless TBC.
TBC has been discussed and vetted a scam on bitcointalk.org. Top known cryptocurrency experts all know TBC as a scam targeted at 3rd-world countries. Then you a self-proclaimed “crypto guru” cannot differentiate between a scam and a reals coin even after all these years of TBC.

Bitcoin is legit from the onset, people were sceptical. However, the adoptions quickly grew. TBC is a scam from the onset so stop comparing it with bitcoin.

Bitcoin began when it had no much value until people generally started accepting it as an asset and demand for it started increasing therefore increasing its value(Demand and Supply). Hence, exchanges were created for it. Currently, Alternatives coins are in the market and there is competition and other factors which affect the prices of these coins. Now the question is, what makes TBC so special that one would buy the coin at a certain price speculating a continuous increase of value by itself in the future, without the forces of demand & supply, without considering ease of conversion of the (asset) and the general acceptability of the coin. Excepts these factors are met, should TBC decide to place it on an exchange or mainstream as they promise, it must have a unique feature that naturally commands its price that other coin like btc, bch, litecoin, etc. do not have (Unique Advantage). Until then it can only remain valuable to people in the Tbc community who trust it as a token or an asset with much value and can exchange it for goods and services within that community that have everything(goods and services) they need. since tbc does not constitute a perfect community with more sellers of tbc than little or no buyers even at a discounted rate, the value of tbc is not real or might have little value. TBC can only be successful within a perfect community of members that have everything(goods and services) and accepts tbc coin as means of exchange.

I am a newbie in Cryptocurrency. But may I ask, why is TBC asking it’s members to pay $10 using BTC if they want something…. that is still FUTURE? WHY PAY IN BITCOIN? Is TBC listed on the blockchain.info/hashrate? (forgive if I missed it). No physical address? (I smell rat here). Can its members go and visit the mining facilities? Common features across scams include recruitment (to ensure you rob Peter to pay Paul), lack of physical location, low entry fee (using power of high volume clientele at lower entry fee), weekly or monthly maintenance or withdrawal fees, among others. The sad thing to note is that Nigeria is the most fertile country for promoting all forms of ponzis/scams. And those crooks out there take advantage of our greed to come and milk us. I got a lengthy write-up from a TBC member today, saying CBN of Nigeria has officially adopted Cryptocurrency. I don’t think that is true. And rather than going to the official website of TBC, I decided to do my due diligence: to hear what reviewers are saying. Thank you for enlightening me. I can now take an informed decision about TBC.

Beautiful analogy. Some factual and some wrongly insinuated. Well, different strokes for different folks. However, one thing I do know is that everything that exists today had a time they never existed, and a time they had loads of nay-sayers. It’s normal for people to get apprehensive when things derail from what they consider normal or what they are use to. TBC is an invention different from the norm, therefore disbelieve and misinterpretations are expected. But in the end, you are responsible for the choices you make. For me, TBC is one of the coins I have in my cryptocurrency portfolio amidst other coins like BTC, Eth, EOS and Steem. I believe in the TBC vision and I hope that someday, they will achieve their goal. Only a matter of time.

    Cheers!

Whether it’s a scam or not is yet to be known but one thing is for sure TBC is not decentralized, and that is where the problem lies. Most other cryptocurrencies are are decentralized meaning the price is not controlled by one person or a body but it is not the same for TBC.

What the makers of TBC intend to achieve is making people rich (it might work) but it is setup in a way that no matter what happens they win.

    *RESPONDING TO CRITICS*

I normally would not respond to destructive criticisms but I reckon that some Giants may get discouraged if I don’t respond to criticisms against TBC especially as generated by the recent Facebook post of Dan Lutz.

Giants, the Evil in the world is not as a result of the violence of bad people but of the silence of good people.

You must stand up to defend what you believe in or the ignorant people who have been brain washed by the Elites will make You believe you are on the wrong course.

*THEY SAY, TBC IS NOT REALISTIC BECAUSE IT ONLY APPRECIATES & NEVER DEPRECIATES*

Is this assertion not funny if it is not down right stupid?

Fiat Currency (Dollar, Pounds, Yen, Euro etc) is always depreciating & yet these people think it’s realistic but the one that is always appreciating is a scam?

Can you see how the Elites have done a good work of brain washing most people?

How they have succeeded in making most people think an anormaly is the standard?

Between 1971 and now, the United States dollar which is the reserve currency of the world has lost 95% of its purchasing power.

    Yet people don’t see this.

Governments that we can’t trust have been entrusted with the power to print Money and they indeed print Trillions of Dollars every year, keeping the people poorer as purchasing power decreases through inflation as they repeatedly print Money.

And these people can’t see this.

*THEY ALSO SAY, TBC IS SCAM BECAUSE THEY CAN’T CONVERT IT TO CASH IMMEDIATELY*

This is actually very painful because most of the people saying this are Bitcoin investors.

The truth is, most of them are very new investors in Bitcoin.

If they weren’t, they would understand that the earliest person who got any kind of value (2 pizzas) from his bitcoin investment did that in 2010, that means he waited 1 year before he could get value(not Monetary).

The earliest person who got a significant Monetary value from Bitcoin investment happened in 2013… that is 4 years after he made the investment.

So when I see Bitcoin newbies running around in a frenzy calling TBC a scam because they are able to get immediate value from their Bitcoin investment, I just shake my head… these people think that Bitcoin has always been that liquid, they don’t know there was a waiting period of 4 years.

TBC is right now where Bitcoin was in pre-2013 years.

I have no doubt that these nay-sayers will jump on the TBC bandwagon as soon as liquidity sets in, the unfortunate thing is that they would have discouraged you an innocent would-be investor from taking a position in a revolutionary coin.

The objective of this post is not to argue with people who think TBC is a scam but to educate people who are not sure whether to join the TBC community or not.

What ever decision you finally take, atleast it would be an informed decision which will get you ready for the rewards or the pains depending on which side you go.
