The topic around airdrops have been hot lately, but not for the right reason, as many recent projects have only disappointed. Today, we’ll dive into Blum!
After PAWS left many TG farmers with dust to sell, all eyes are now on BLUM.
On April 3, 2025, Blum unveiled its airdrop eligibility criteria ahead of its upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE).
However, one question is echoing across every farmer’s mind:
Is the Meme Points criteria really worth the grind, or just another clever way to enrich devs while farmers end up with dust?
In this post, we’ll talk about the eligibility criteria and discuss if it’s with it or not. Let’s dive in!
What Are BLUM’s Airdrop Eligibility Requirements?

To qualify for the upcoming $BLUM airdrop, users need to fulfill three main conditions:
1. Earn at least 100,000 Blum Points (BP)
These are the standard points earned through farming activities in the app (tapping, tasks, daily bonuses, etc).
2. Hold 750 Meme Points (MP) or Provide Proof of Activity (PoA)
Meme Points are earned by engaging with Memepad or the BLUM Trading Bot.
Th includes launching tokens, trading via Telegram, and interacting with meme-based campaigns.
PoA required a specific TON transaction for verification, and that window has long closed. In fact, some who completed it barely even remember doing so.
3. Refer at least 2 friends
Yeah! You must invite 2 users who also meet the criteria to be eligible.
The requirements are live and being tracked already, so if you’re active, you may already be on your way.
But here’s the real issue: the 750 MP requirement has been a turn-off for many farmers, and here’s why.
Since the Proof of Activity (PoA) period has long elapsed, the only way to meet the criteria is through accumulating Meme Points.
Unlike Blum Points, which can be earned freely through in-app activities, obtaining Meme Points isn’t free.
It requires a financial commitment that some consider substantial. This raises concerns: What if the project fails to deliver?
Let’s take a look at how to acquire the 750 Meme Points.
How to Earn 750 Meme Points (MP) for Blum Airdrop Eligibility
To accumulate the required 750 MP, follow these steps:
1. Deposit TON
- Ensure you have TON tokens in your connected wallet
- Deposit at least 3.7 TON to facilitate trading activities
You can buy TON on Bybit. Click on the image below to register!

2. Access the Blum Trading Bot
- Open the Blum app on Telegram
- Select “Trade to Earn” to access the trading bot
3. Execute Trades
- Use the trading bot to buy and sell TON-based tokens
- For every $10 traded, you earn 50 MP
- To reach 750 MP, you need to trade approximately $150 worth of tokens
After each trade, check your MP balance in the app to track your progress toward the 750 MP goal.
You can also launch your token to earn 500 MP.

That said, the key question is: Will the time spent farming MP pay off?
Is Farming For Blum’s Meme Point Worth It?
If you’re looking to buy Meme Points or sink resources into farming them aggressively, here’s what I have to say.
You see, Notcoin may have set the stage, but most Telegram games that followed? Completely mediocre. They all promised moon but delivered dust.
PAWS literally just rugged expectations today (April 16, 2025) with a drop that didn’t even cover your data costs. Lolz.
And this isn’t the first time! It’s becoming a pattern.
After Notcoin showed that simple tap-based games could go viral and reward early farmers, there was a mad rush of Telegram mini-app clones trying to ride the same hype.
Projects like TapSwap, Hamster Kombat, Catizen, Yescoin, ToMarket, WATCoin, and others followed suit with slight variations: tap-to-earn, swipe-to-earn, or play-to-earn.
But guess what? None have actually delivered above expectation.
Either they delayed their Token Generation Event (TGE) endlessly, dropped with poor tokenomics, or worse, went silent when it was time to convert hype into actual value.
The airdrops that did happen were either not tradable, locked for long vesting periods, or worth literal cents.
And that’s after people spent weeks grinding, referring friends, and even spending money on in-app upgrades or trading strategies to “boost” their positions.
That said, if you’re considering farming Blum’s Meme Points to qualify for its airdrop, keep in mind that there’s no guarantee you’ll receive anything tangible in the end.
Why? Because we’ve seen this play before.
Despite the string of disappointments from Telegram bots, many still believe BLUM could be different, and might actually
deliver. Let’s continue below.

Why Some People Still Believe BLUM Might Cook
While, a lot of Telegram airdrops have flopped, some still believe that Blum might be different. Here’s why:
- Doxxed Team
BLUM is led by seasoned professionals, including Gleb Kostarev (former VP at Binance), Vlad Smerkis (ex-Red Bull and Binance Central Asia), and Vlad Maslyakov (former CTO at Exante).
- Strategic Partnerships
The project has secured a partnership with Binance Labs’ MVB Program, providing access to significant resources and industry expertise.
- Building beyond TG bots
The project is expanding into one of the largest DEXs on TON, think of it as TON’s version of Pump.fun. That’s already more substance than most recent mini-apps.
- Token Utility
The upcoming BLUM token is designed for multiple uses within the ecosystem, such as reducing trading fees, participating in Launchpad and Launchpool distributions, and staking.
So yeah, the 750 MP grind might feel risky. We’ve been burned before, no doubt.
But if you’re still optimistic about Blum, complete the task, and let’s hope it actually pays off.

Conclusion
Based on how things have played out lately, farming for those Meme Points might not be worth your money.
However, there’s no harm in doing so especially if you genuinely believe in BLUM’s long-term play, but manage your expectations.
One thing’s clear: the team behind BLUM isn’t some random Telegram dev squad. Their track record and products give this more weight than most of the noise we’ve seen post-Notcoin.
At the end of the day, this isn’t Notcoin…but it might not be PAWS either.
So, what’s your take? Will you be farming for the 750 MP or passing on this one?
Do you think BLUM will cook or just another TG bot hype that will deliver dust?
